Universal released the first trailer for Jurassic World Dominion, teasing the conclusion of this new trilogy and reuniting with some old friends.
Dominion is set four years after the conclusion of Fallen Kingdon, as the trailer gives us a glimpse of how man is trying to adapt with having to live side by side for the first time with dinosaurs who are once again roaming free on Earth. Now humanity must find a way for both to keep living on the planet or man could face its own extinction.
What’s exciting is that Dominion is bringing back Sam Neill as Alan Grant, Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler, and Jeff Goldblum as the wisecracking mathematician Ian Malcolm. This will the first time since the original Jurassic Park movie that all three have been together. Ian Malcom returned for The Lost World and Fallen Kingdom, Sam Neill and Laura Dern both returned for Jurassic Park III.
Colin Trevorrow who co-wrote the first two movies, co-wrote Dominion with Emily Carmichael. Trevorrow also returns to the directing chair for Dominion after J. A. Bayona helmed Fallen Kingdom. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard also return for the final installment.
Jurassic World: Dominion roars into theaters on June 10, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
Jurassic World: Dominion Synopsis:
This summer, experience the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era as two generations unite for the first time. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are joined by Oscar®-winner Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill in Jurassic World Dominion, a bold, timely and breathtaking new adventure that spans the globe.
From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
