Disney announced on Wednesday that, fans can expect a new “Star Wars” movie every summer starting in 2015 for five years.
Official installments 2015, 2017 and 2019 with stand-alone films in 2016, and 2018. Walt Disney Co. chairman Alan Horn announced Wednesday that the studio would release films set in a galaxy far, far away starting in 2015, with “Star Wars: Episode VII,” directed by J.J. Abrams.
Disney bought Lucasfilm Ltd. last year for $4.05 billion.
