CSI Will Get Series Finale
Back on May 2nd I posted an article that CBS needed to do the right thing and give CSI a series finale after fifteen seasons on the air, thankfully CBS made the right decision.
If you read my post “CSI Deserves Closure” I got on my soap box that CBS should do what’s right for the show and the fans and let CSI have a series finale and I was happy to see that CBS announced today (Wednesday) that CSI will get just that.
This coming fall on September 27, CBS will air the two-hour series finale of CSI. The finale will see original cast members William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger return. Ted Danson and the current CSI cast will also return as well. No word if previous cast members like Laurence Fishburne, Paul Guilfoyle or George Eads will also be returning.
After the finale Ted Danson will be moving over and joining the cast of CSI Cyber. CSI Cyber will have its season premiere a week later and air on Sundays at 10/9c.
I realize my “CSI Deserves Closure” posting had no influence on CBS and its decision to give CSI closure, but I’am happy that both the show and the fans (such as myself) will get a proper goodbye.
Thank You CBS.
