Prime Video has released a set of character posters for a prequel series that’ll explore Middle-earth before Sauron’s One Ring.
Prime Video has been keeping the production of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power under wraps, but it didn’t stop the official Twitter account from releasing 23-character posters for season 1 as the series is expected to show the initial rise of Lord Sauron.
While each poster may not give fans enough of a look at the characters the attention to detail in the costume and prop design defiantly stands out. ‘The Rings of Power” was first developed in 2017 and Amazon has reportedly committed itself to five-seasons with an estimated production cost of at least $1 billion making it the most expensive series for television ever.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres Friday, September 2 on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping weekly each Friday. You can check out all twenty-three-character posters below.
