A new television spot that has begun airing on Korean television for “The Force Awakens” gives us the briefest of looks at just how strong the Empire still is and on Monday a new image was strong with the Internet.
The thirty second spot for J.J. Abrams “The Force Awakens” for the most part shows us nothing new in the way of footage, but does for the briefest of moments gives us a look at how strong the “Empire”, excuse me the “First Order” is thirty some years after the loss of the Emperor and Vader.
The image below gives us a great look at the size and scope of what the Rebels or New Republic, what ever they might be calling themselves now is still fighting against across the galaxy.
The hi-res image below was later released and if you look closely you can see the new design of the Imperial TIE Fighters as well as what seems to be troop transport vehicles, Imperial Walkers, aka AT-ATs, that also seem to have a bit of a redesign.
Starring: original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow.
