The Dark Tower Set Images

Idris Elba and Jackie Earle Haley were seen on the set of the upcoming movie The Dark Tower over the weekend while filming an action scene.

The Dark Tower has experienced a variety of starts and stops involving different filmmakers and studios. The current version was announced in March 2015 and is being produced by Sony Pictures.

It’s not known if the series will get just one film or turned into a franchise, but it has been expressed that this version won’t be an out right adaptation, but more of a new take on the series and a continuation.

The Dark Tower will hit theaters in the U.S. on February 17, 2017.
