“Logan” will debut at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and an extended synopsis was unveiled as well the run time of the movie. (Could be some spoilers)
Hugh Jackman’s seventeen-year run as everybody’s favorite X-Men character, Wolverine, will come to a conclusion when “Logan” hits theaters in March. Probably one of the most anticipated movies of 2017 especially after the first trailer featured the song “Hurt,” sung by Johnny Cash grabbed everyone’s attention.
The people behind the Berlin International Film Festival gave the movie “Logan” its very own page on the festival’s site where a number of images, facts and the runtime for the movie could be found. According to the festival’s site “Logan” has a runtime of 135 minutes or 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The runtime wasn’t the only thing that was revealed, an extended synopsis for Logan was also posted. What the extended synopsis does tell us is that Laura and Wolverine are related, but what their relationship is won’t be fully known until the movie comes out. The interesting thing to watch when “Logan” finally hits theater is how much of the actual comic book story line is used with Laura.
Logan could do something a superhero film really hasn’t done before, generate awards buzz come early 2018, it may not be as far-fetched as it seems especially if the movie is as good as the trailer and buzz around the film suggest.
