Batman and Bill Documentary

A new documentary will take a look at the co-creator of Batman that some might not be aware of existed.

Batman and Bill premieres on the streaming service Hulu on May 6th, that tells the story about the little known and forgotten Bill Finger. Finger who was instrumental in the creation of Bruce Wayne/Batman with Bob Kane was never given the credit that he deserved until after his death.

It was Bob Kane himself who acknowledged Finger’s contribution and led to his induction into the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame and his name now appears on an award for exceptional comic book writing.

Hulu’s documentary will give you Bill Finger’s untold story, the contributions he made to Batman, the rogues gallery and DC Comics.

Everyone thinks that Bob Kane created Batman, but that’s not the whole truth. One author makes it his crusade to seek justice for Bill Finger, a struggling writer who was the key figure in creating the iconic superhero, from concept to costume to the very character we all know and love. Bruce Wayne may be Batman’s secret identity, but his creator was always a true mystery.
