Marvel has released some really fun, colorful and exciting new images for their next movie in the MCU due out in November.
The new images for Thor Ragnarok gives us some looks we’ve already seen with better looks at Karl Urban’s “Skurge” and Jeff Goldblum’s “Grandmaster”.
Thor Ragnarok will see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) captured, imprisoned and forced to team up with his brother Loki and Banner in order to stop the Goddess of Death, Hela from destroying Asgard. Ragnarok has been criticized by some of copying the bright colorful look and humor from the Guardians of the Galaxy, but I believe once we’re able to see the movie that Ragnarok will stand on its own merits.
Director Taika Waititi during San Diego Comic Con revealed that Ragnarok could be the shortest MCU movie ever and for me personally I’m fine with that, not all movies must be two hours.
“The cut right now, I reckon it’s about 100 minutes. It’s not gonna be a very, very long film. I think that stories are better when you leave them wanting more, and this film moves at a clip, it’s got stuff happening all the time. I think people are still gonna feel exhausted by the end, they’ve been on this big journey and stuff, so I don’t think we need the film to be three hours.”
Thor: Ragnarok opens in theaters November 3rd
