Marvel Studios on Thursday revealed a set of new character posters for their very colorful sequel Thor: Ragnarok.
The new character posters are very colorful and that seems to reflect the more comedic tone that Ragnarok looks to be taking. So what exactly will we be getting in the latest chapter of Thor and Marvel’s MCU?
Thor: Ragnarok will be set roughly two years after the events of “Age of Ultron”. Asguard under the rule of Loki, disguised as Odin, has Asgard in complete disarray and on the brink of being totally ruined, leaving Asgard vulnerable to the Goddess of Death, Hela.
We should also see Benedict Cumberbatch, Doctor Strange himself when Thor and Loki travel back to Earth and lets not forget that Thor will be taken prisoner and sent to the planet Sakaar where Thor and Hulk go toe to toe in a gladiator battle against one another.
We know that Banner has been “The Hulk” for two straight years and is not happy, but when is The Hulk ever happy. One of the more notable actors Marvel added to Thor: Ragnarok is Jeff Goldbum. Goldblum will be playing The Grandmaster the ruler of Sakaar.
Thor: Ragnarok will open in theaters on November 3rd.
Cast; Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
