Warner Brothers released a new trailer for the very highly anticipated Justice League movie as the heroes of DC will come together to save the world.
If you’re a Superman fan then you may love this trailer as it begins with a shot of Henry Cavill and Amy Adams back on the Kent farm in Kansas in a brief moment of hope, but it’s quickly taken away when they cut back to Lois waking up in what appears to have been nothing more than a dream. I’ve said in previous post that I didn’t want to see Superman in any of the trailers and I still believe they should leave that for us to see in theaters, but I understand why they put the shot of Henry Cavill as Clark in this one. Superman/Clark is one of DC’s major characters and you can’t leave him out of your promotional campaign despite what fans may or may not want.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman from the looks of the trailers could easily be the stand out hero of the movie. His charisma and humor comes across when you watch any of trailers and it has me even more excited to see Aquaman come November.
Justice League should no doubt draw huge interest from hard-core and casual fans alike. Some say the film has gone through set backs with Zack Snyder stepping down and Joss Whedon taking over directing the re-shoots that some have stated were more extensive than originally planned. I’m not sure if having two directors work on one of the biggest superhero movies would be a set back. It could only help to ensure that the movie is the best it possibly can be when it does hit theaters.
Justice League opens on November 17th
Cast: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Jason Mom
Official synopsis for Justice League
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
