Podcast #44 – Marvel’s Infinity Saga

Avengers: Endgame is what the Marvel Cinematic Universe had been building to for over a decade. Join my guest Mathew and myself as we sit down to discuss the culmination of twenty-two movies known as the Infinity Saga.

Avengers: Endgame is now the highest grossing Marvel/Comic book movie in the history of Hollywood and the 2nd highest grossing movie ever, right behind James Cameron’s Avatar. What started with Iron Man in 2008 slowly grew adding Hulk, Captain America and Thor that would give us the first ever team-up movie with 2012’s The Avengers. As the years went on we got the Guardian’s of the Galaxy, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Captain Marvel all who would come together with the other Avengers to try and stop Thanos from dusting half the galaxy.

I asked my friend Mathew to return as a guest and sit down with me to talk about Avengers: Endgame and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Mathew and I had a great time recording the Podcast, but what came afterwards is a different story.

This Podcast was originally going to be posted in early June right about the time X-Men Dark Phoenix was hitting theaters. Not long after I began my editing process I became sick and lost about ten days with the illness and trying to get back to my real life job. Not long after I resumed editing the Podcast I took and unexpected, but quick power hit that caused the file to become corrupt and I lost everything.

As to be expected I was not happy, okay down right pissed. After taking a few days to calm down I decided to start the editing process once again from the beginning. Even though I had passed my original posting date and then again with my second date I had decided come hell or high water it was going to get done.

As you listen to the Podcast you may hear a few references about Spider-Man Far From Home coming to theaters and X-Men Dark Phoenix, but like I said this was going to be posted right about the beginning of June. I still hope you will take the time and listen and see what you think of both Mathew and my opinions on Endgame and the rest of the MCU.
