Spider-Man, is published by Marvel Comics and was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, who first appeared in the Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962) and has gone on to be featured in films, television shows and video games. Spider-Man is the alias of Peter Parker, orphaned and raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben in New York City after his parents Richard and Mary Parker died.
On our 49th Podcast, James from “The True Believers” joins me once again as we celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Marvel comics superhero Spider-Man. Spider-Man’s his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 to Amazing Spider-Man #33 “If This Be My Destiny” one of the most celebrated issues of the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko era. We also talk about Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan) and a 1977 interview he did about Star Wars, plus fandom in the movies and comics.
