Reggie’s Take Podcast #48 – “In A World Episode” Two

In just my second solo podcast I talk about a lethal buddy cop movie, a spy franchise and three television series all celebrating anniversaries that are a part of my world.

When I stared recording my Reggie’s Take Podcast, I shared the microphone with my long-time guest and then co-host James from the True Believers. In 2018 I took a break from recording and now in 2022 I have started recording new episodes, but now I have decided to venture out of my comfort zone as I have gone solo.

It used to be back in the day, before the internet or YouTube, the only way you could watch the “new” trailers for upcoming movies was by going to the movie theater itself. For those who are old enough you might remember hearing a voice over the trailers and on some of those trailers you might have heard the words, “In a world.” It is those words that inspired me for the title of solo podcast.

“In a world” is exactly what my new solo podcast is all about. No, not about movie trailers, but the movies and television shows that I have grown up on as a kid and now as an adult. Those movies and TV series that I loved watching growing up and the movies and movie franchises that have shaped my viewing habits and will continue to until the day I leave this Earth.

In my newest podcast I talk about what is widely considered the best buddy cop movie ever made, Lethal Weapon, staring Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. I also talk about the James Bond franchise as it enters its sixth decade on the big screen. Plus, I talk about three different television series all celebrating anniversaries in 2022, Married With Children, MAS*H and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
