ESPN 30 for 30: The Bunny and The GOAT

Space Jam: A New Legacy is getting its very own 30 for 30 ESPN treatment featuring the Tune Squad and LeBron James entitled “The Bunny & The GOAT.”

“The Bunny & The GOAT” finds NBA star LeBron James talking about the biggest challenge of his career, referring to the basketball game he had to play with the Tune Squad in order to get his son back from the Goon Squad.

The 30 for 30 episode takes advantage of the documentary format to interview some of the cast from Space Jam: A New Legacy while in character, including Don Cheadle, who is the sinister algorithm AI G. Your favorite looney Tunes also explain what obstacles they faced as a team all while needing to work together, not to mention the egos LeBron James had to deal with in Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

The film’s voice cast includes Jeff Bergman (Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Foghorn Leghorn, and Fred Flintstone), Eric Bauza (Daffy Duck and Marvin the Martian), Zendaya (Lola Bunny), Bob Bergen (Porky Pig and Tweety), Jim Cummings (Tasmanian Devil), Gabriel Iglesias (Speedy Gonzales), and Candi Milo (Granny). They’ll be facing off against Goon Squad members played by professional basketball stars Klay Thompson, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Diana Taurasi, and Nneka Ogwumike.

Space Jam: A New Legacy hits theaters and on HBO Max on July 16.

ESPN 30 for 30 presents, The Bunny & The GOAT, where LeBron James faces the biggest challenge of his career as he teams up with the Tune Squad to save his son, the Looney Tunes, and their universe.
