Andor – Teaser Trailer

Thursday was the start of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2022 and they waisted no time in releasing the first teaser trailer for the Rogue One prequel series Andor.

Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor in the new Disney Plus series set five years before the events of Rogue One released in 2016. Andor begins with the destruction of Cassian’s home world as it examines his backstory during the height of the Empire.

Andor’s first season will include an initial 12-episodes with another twelve episodes that will begin filming when the series goes back in front of the cameras come November. The Star Wars: Rogue One prequel “Andor” will premiere on Disney Plus on August 31, 2022.

Andor, created by Tony Gilroy, staring Diego Luna, as rebel spy Cassian Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly, as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgard, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.
