Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

CBS All Access announced a new series based on the years Captain Christopher Pike was at the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Anson Mount who starred as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock who were season two favorites on Star Trek: Discovery are returning in their own Star Trek spin-off, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Now that the U.S.S. Discovery has warped 900 years into the future, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will explore the ten years that Captain Pike was captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise, before Captain Kirk and the Original Series’ five-year mission.

Due to the current pandemic and social distancing CBS All Access released no specifics about a launch date, an episode count or where international viewers might be able to watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
