It’s time to play the music, It’s time to light the lights, It’s time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight as the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational show is coming to streaming.

The original “Muppet Show” created by the late great Jim Henson was a half-hour variety show starring Kermit the Frog and all of your favorite Muppets and on February 19th all five season will become available to stream for the very first time on Disney Plus.

The Muppet Show ran from 1976 – 1981 on CBS mixing family-friendly Muppet characters such as Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, the Swedish Chef and everyone’s favorite hecklers Statler and Waldorf. The show also featured different guest star each week like Steve Martin, Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Alice Cooper, Bob Hope, Gene Kelly and Mark Hamill.

If you are a fan of the show as I am this fantastic news. The first three seasons were released on DVD between 2005 and 2008, but season four and five never were. With the Muppets coming to Disney Plus, all five seasons will be available to watch for the first time.

I grew up watching The Muppet Show as a kid, Pigs In Space and Veterinarian’s Hospital were two of my favorite regular skits on the show. As an adult the news of all five seasons coming to Disney Plus makes me feel like a kid once again.
