Reggie’s Take Podcast #42 Remembering Stan Lee

Stanley Martin Lieber better known as Stan Lee passed away on November 12th and we here at Reggie’s Take have dedicated our newest Podcast to the man behind Marvel Comics.

Stan Lee co-created several popular fictional superheroes like Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil and Doctor Strange just to name a few.

After Stan Lee retired from Marvel in the 1990s, he remained as the public figurehead and made frequent cameos in movies based on Marvel characters.

My co-host James and myself sat down on the Saturday after Stan Lee’s passing and talked everything Stan Lee and Marvel. From the characters he created to his many movie cameos. We even talk Bill Maher and his statement on Stan Lee, comic books and comic book movies.

Reggie’s Take:
If you are a long time follower here at Reggie’s Take you will notice this is our first new Podcast in nearly a year. Not to go into a lot of detail, but the break was much needed in recharging my enthusiasm in doing them.

I’ve made mention of this before that I have a regular job and don’t have the luxury of doing this full time. After working at my job not to mention the responsibilities to my family trying to post a Podcast on a regular basis and wanting it to be the best possible began to take up a lot of my time.

I had planed on bringing my Podcast back in January of 2019, but the passing of Stan Lee accelerated that just a bit. I’m excited about getting back to recording and posting my Podcast and I hope all of you who follow me will look forward to checking them out once again.
